4 House Hunting Questions

I’m sharing four crucial questions to ask when house hunting.

Today I’m sharing four main questions to ask when you’re house hunting. The answers to these questions are essential to know about any potential home you may buy.

    1. How is the neighborhood or area? This is critical for several reasons. Think about where you’re working, how the commute will be, where you want to eat on a Friday night, etc. Your lifestyle should go into this decision.

    2. How are the schools? This is an excellent question. There are some exceptional schools in Austin, Texas, and there are also schools that do not perform well. If that’s important to you, you need to know what schools are best for your children.

Your lifestyle should go into this decision.

    3. What are the average utility bills? They do vary. As you can imagine, a brand-new house is going to have much better insulation. There are homes in Austin from the late 1800s, and they have the worst insulation. If you ask this question, you will get answers.

    4. What are the ages of the big-ticket items? The roof, hot water heater, and HVAC system, for example. You want to know what your property has.
